Well, I know that it has been quite a while since something has been written, and those of you that keep checking the site for blogs, pictures or even the schedule, I'm sorry that I have not written anything in a long time.

Well, where do I start? On Saturday, May 17, we were at The Gurnsey County Gospel Jubilee Association Spring Sing at the Spring Valley Campgrounds in Cambridge, Ohio. It was a great time had by all. We got to see some friends and other groups that we don't get to see very often unless we are singing with them. We sang under the pavillion this year due to the wind being so strong that it literally blew the tent down. That is ok though, because everyone was out of the tent when it went down. Thank you Quincy for a great time. Then on Sunday we sang that morning and that evening and WOW!!!!!!!! what services we had. The Spirit came on the scene and took over and it was an awesome service. Then, that evening the same thing happened and it was an awesome time. The whole weekend was an awesome time had by all.

January 8, 2008 -- What kids talk about!!!!

You know being a Headstart Teachers Aide/Bus Aide you hear children say someof the funniest things and someof the crazsiest things, but how many do you hear talk about Jesus.

After we put the kids on the bus and buckled them into their harnesses and started down the road, I was talking to the driver as we were letting the children off at their stops. We had let this one child off the bus and we started back on the road and I heard these two little ones talking. (Child 1) turned to his friend and said you don't let the devil tell you what to do you let Jesus tell you what to do. (Child 2) replied yeah cause the devil tells you bad things to do, and Jesus tells you the right things to do. (Child 1) looks at his friend and say if the devil tells you to do something wrong, you just tell him, Devil I ain't listening to you cause I am listening to Jesus.
What a blessing it was to hear these two little children talk about Jesus.

WOW!!

What A New Years Eve we had. After not singing on New Years Eve 2006, We booked 2007 in Cambridge, Ohio. It was a wonderful time had by all. There was some good singing, food and also the best part of the night was the spirit that was there. Man was it awesome.

The group would like to say a big thank you to al lof those that went with us that was on the charter bus and all of our familiy members on our bus. It was great to have everyone with us.

Here is alittle something for everyone to think about. This past Sunday morning in church the pastor was talking about all the New Year's resolutions that people are making and he asked the question:" are you making them so that you can better yourself in some way ?" , OR "are you making them so that you can have a closer relationship with God?"

This is just something for you to think about

Well, guess I have kinda been slacking on writing a blog. It has been over a month now. I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. Where has it gone? It seems like just yesterday we were startin out the new year and now it is almost over with. Do we really get so busy that we don't pay attention to what we are doing or take time for ourselves anymore. It is I gotta go here, gotta go there, have to do this for this person and this for that person, my kids have to go here and there, etc., my house needs cleaned, I don't have time for anything I want to do anymore. That is the way we live anymore, so fast paced and trying to take care of everyone else we forget about ourselves, we forget about how important we really are.

This CHRISTmas, after all the dinners have been eaten and all the gifts have been opened take some time to think about all you have , and the love you have shown toward others, and then think about God sending his One and Only son to save the world from their sins. I don't think there is anything in the bible that says God did this reluctantly, or he complained, or he moaned and groaned. He did this willingly for the sake of all man. So this Christmas remember that JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON.

FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE JOHN 3:16

What can I say about Sunday night the 11th except WOW!!!!! What an awesome service we had, from the start of the service to the last Amen was said it was a spirit filled service. We spent the evening at Chesapeake Family Worship Center in Chesapeake, WV. What a wonderful pastor and church family they have there. We started to carry the equipment in the church and as soon as youwalked through the doors you could sense the presence of the Holy Spirit , Man was it Awesome!!!!!!!!! I think after being off for almost three weeks and not singing or spreading the gospel through our ministry, that Sunday night was a great way to start off the month of November for the quartet.

Please continue to pray for the quartet as we travel and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who are lost and dying so that we may see lives changed and souls saved.

Well we have had two weeks off and it feels like it has been a month. Don't get me wrong, it is nice to have some time off but I look forward to driving to where the bus parks and boarding the bus. Knowing that we are going where we can spread the gospel and possibly see someone accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior or even rededicate their life back to God is a wonderful thing. Like I said before, it is nice to have a weekend or two off every now and then so we can spend it with our wives and our families. It is back on the road this weekend an I am excited and can't wait to get on the bus.

Keep the quartet in your prayers as we continue to go to the different churches and other sings we do, that someone will come to know Christ through our ministry.

Well I am late with a blog for last weekend, I do apologize but last weekend we were at the Pratt Fall Festival on Saturday the 13th, and on the 14th we were at Ohley Baptist Church that afternoon and what a wonderful service we had. That evening we went to Kimberly Church of God and the service there was just a carry over from the afternoon service. What a weekend that was.

And now for this past weekend. We started the weekend off in Flatwoods, KY, where we sang at KYOVA GMA with The Songsman and Linda, The Heaven Bound James Gang, and Lisa Jordan. That night was a good night, the spirit was there and we all had a wonderful time. Then Saturday we had an eventful bus ride to the church. We got lost!!!! That was funny, it was one of those trips where you had to be there. Anyway, after we arrived to the church and got the equipment set up and a quick sound check, the service was great and the spirit was there. Then on Sunday night in St. Albans we were at Souls Harvest Fellowship where you could feel the spirit of the Lord when you walked in the door. What an awesome time we have been having as we go into these services and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
